Libby Alexander

Good day to you all! My name is Libby Alexander. I have high pleasure
of music, dancing, and spending time with my dear family and friends.
I also have most recently found the color of green to be quite
comforting to my sight. My father John is a binder of many fine
books.
My mother Elizabeth cares for our household. I have two sisters
named Nancy and Sarah, and one brother named William. I am apprenticed
to
Master Hugh Mercer, a very fine apothecary of Fredericksburg.
I help prepare the herbs before they are mixed for medicinal uses,
and I run
errands for Mr. Mercer, collecting what he may be in need of.
We sell to our customers many fine cures for the unpleasant disorders
that
cause many to be fallen ill in the most frightful manner, as well
as ones for an unpleasant itch of the skin. We would be happy to
fix
any medicine in advance for you, if that is what you please. If
you would excuse me, I am being called for my sleep. I hope for
pleasant rest and
dreams.
Until we meet again,
I am, Yr. Humble Srvnt.,
Libby A.
